At Keylane, we have 2 business lines; Insurance (Property & Casualty or P&C) and Pension (Life & Pension or L&P). This role will fall under our Pension (L&P) business line.

Key about your role

In this role, you are responsible for the HR business partner work in The Netherlands. You will advise and support and the Dutch Management and their team members in the continuous growth of our operational and technical teams during their employment life cycle.
Every day will be different for you. You are in conversation with the Managers about the composition and functioning of the teams. When necessary, you conduct job interviews and help with broad organisational issues. You always look for opportunities to optimise HR processes.

Together with your HR colleagues, you also provide support to the organisation by creating policies, tools, trainings and advice on a wide range of the employment matters.

  • You will serve as a reliable sparring partner for management and other employees;
  • You understand the strategy and can translate it into concrete objectives and actions for HR;
  • You can challenge our management team by asking critical questions and providing suggestions;
  • You are the link between the organisation's leadership and its staff, and you ensure that the interests of both are well balanced;
  • In addition to strategic support for various management teams, you are also the absenteeism coordinator within your business line. Together with the team manager you guide employees in their reintegration process.
  • You will work on various HR projects e.g., performance cycles and reward systems

Within Keylane Life & Pension we thrive to keep looking for innovative and creative ways to improve the organisation as well as the HR team. As a HR Business Partner you will be working for out Life & Pension (L&P) business line. You will report directly to our HR Director and will work closely with your peers in the Netherlands and Denmark.

Our team currently consists of 5 talents, each being an expert in their own fields- Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations. We make sure to align regularly, we cheer an informal but professional work ethic, and we genuinely just enjoy helping each other out!

Key about you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and open personality who likes to be in touch with the business. Someone who can get the organisation moving, who recognises talents and knows what is needed to make our colleagues shine.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources;
  • You have knowledge and experience of organisational change and development and of managing different projects simultaneously;
  • You can develop strong relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders within the organization;
  • You are empathetic, a good listener and can provide employees with solid advice;
  • Strong organization and communication skills;
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation policies, absenteeism, retention, organizational diagnosis, performance management and Dutch employment law (e.g., Works Council);
  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English, (verbal and in writing);
  • You are up to date with the trends in HR;
  • You easily find the balance between tactical business partnership and operational HR matters;
  • You maintain and improve relationships with numerous relevant internal and external (international) stakeholders.
