Functie

In this role as NPR Buyer a.i. you will be responsible for:

• Spend Analysis and Risk Assessment:
• Evaluate spending patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct regular assessments to mitigate potential risks.
• Supplier Management and Development:
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards and performance expectations.
• Contract Negotiation and Management:
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing for contracts.
• Optimize contract management processes.
• Request for Proposal and Bid Management:
• Develop and manage RFP processes.
• Evaluate bids and analyze cost drivers.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships.
• Conduct regular performance reviews.
• Internal Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Align procurement strategies with overall business goals.
• Work closely with senior management and other internal teams.
• Procurement System Management:
• Maintain procurement systems for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with supplier approvals, contract management, and ERP systems.
• Operational Efficiency and Value Creation:
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Enhance business performance through value-added initiatives.
• Category Strategy Support:
• Assist category managers in developing tailored strategies.
• Ensure alignment with local needs and business objectives.
• Knowledge Sharing and Development:
• Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the procurement team.
• Promote continuous learning and development.

Profiel

• Minimum of of experience in a similar role. Strong understanding of market trends, supplier relationships, and procurement strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools; capable of applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
• Experience in deriving and analyzing data to support value-added category strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of supplier selection, evaluation, and certification processes.
• Experience in contract administration and management practices.
• Expertise in developing, implementing, and following up on sourcing projects.
• Skilled in managing tenders and conducting negotiations.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and tools, capable of utilizing them effectively.
• Understanding of purchasing policies, regulations, and procedures.
