Roll Group owns a versatile heavy transport seagoing fleet consisting of dock-type vessels, which all have the option of three loading modes - Ro-Ro, Flo-Flo and Lo-Lo, and deck carriers. On the land side Roll Group operates globally a large number of modern heavy lift cranes with capacity up to 4000Tonns, Self- Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMT’s) and Conventional Trailers.The specific characteristics of Roll Group’s asset base ensures the ability to serve a wide range of markets, such as: Oil & Gas and Renewable energies.
PositionAs a Business Analyst you work closely with various departments from different regions, providing key insights that shape strategic decisions across the organization. You will analyze market trends, track competitors, and evaluate new opportunities, providing the data-backed intelligence needed to navigate the dynamic landscape of our industry. Besides this, you:
- Proactively search for new data sources, monitor the global market landscape, track competitors, and identify emerging trends.
- Perform comprehensive market analysis, including assessing competition, investment opportunities, and identifying market gaps for business growth or other strategic initiatives.
- Focus on identifying and evaluating asset acquisition or sale opportunities to maximize financial performance.
- Prepare and present macro-economic developments alongside commercial and marketing insights to support strategic planning and governance.
- Perform analysis and write advisory documents to support decision-making processes.
- Analyze complex data to develop internal business cases, providing insights for data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Support in strategic multi-year plans and yearly budget processes.
- Collect, structure, and transform data into actionable intelligence, reports, and insights for customer-facing departments as well as for Management.
- Manage the customer satisfaction survey.
- Improve data accuracy in the company’s CRM system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Economics, Macro Economics, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience, including 1-2 years in Business Analytics or Data Analytics.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Fluent in English (both verbally and in writing).

Our selection process
The recruitment procedure will include two face-to-face interviews, possibly back-to-back. Your terms of employment and benefits package will be discussed at a subsequent meeting. We aim to finalize the entire process within 4 weeks.
