Functie

As a Controller, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring and reporting of financial activities related to real estate investments in the Netherlands. You will manage investment structures for real estate assets, ensure financial reporting accuracy, oversee local regulatory compliance, and coordinate financial and administrative processes.

• Act as the primary point of contact for fund accounting teams and client portfolio managers
• Assist in setting up real estate entities and manage their financial administration, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Coordinate tax and legal matters in collaboration with specialists
• Oversee external advisors, such as auditors and tax consultants
• Review and analyse financial reports and data provided by accounting colleagues
• Manage controlling activities, such as budgeting processes and coordinating information flows between internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in international project groups

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related field
• At least 6 years of experience in finance or audit (e.g., at a "Big Four" firm)
• Relevant experience in real estate companies or real estate investment funds
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Strong analytical skills and experience in reviewing financial data
• Independent, solution-oriented, and proactive
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), with understanding of the Dutch language skills being a plus

• A one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position
