Are you looking for a dynamic role where you can apply your administrative and financial skills?

What are you going to do?

In this role, you will work closely with our finance team and contribute to an efficient and accurate financial administration. Further you will:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and basic reconciliations (e.g., bank statements and credit cards).
  • Support the monthly closing process by preparing journal entries, maintaining organized records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate documentation of financial transactions, and assist in preparing internal reports and summaries.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems, while providing support during audits and responding to inquiries.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as processing reimbursements, preparing payment schedules, tracking petty cash, and assisting with ad hoc accounting tasks.

Be aware: this is a temporarily position for 4 months with a possible extension.

Where will you work?

The client is an internationally oriented organisation, focussing on financial markets. You will work with a team of 4 colleagues in an informal and collaborative atmosphere, the total department exist out of 20 colleagues. Further does the client offer a dynamic work environment where teamwork, and personal interaction, stand at the core of the company.

What do we ask?
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial administration.
  • Experience with Exact Globe and Exact Synergy ERP.
  • Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to contribute to process improvement.
  • Available for 40h a week for a minimum period of 4 months, perhaps longer.
