Global BI and Reporting Consultant – Financial Economic Crime
We are looking for a skilled BI and Reporting Consultant who will help the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) team to make better informed decisions. You don’t need to be a FEC specialist, but some familiarity with FEC to better understand what your colleagues are doing is a big plus.You will support the FEC team with management information, valuable periodic reports, analysis and various other administrative tasks. Unique about this position is that you will not be part of a reporting team, but you will become part of the FEC team.
This team now exists for a couple of years and is still developing, the same applies to this role. This team consists of approximately 23 employees divided into several sub-teams. We pride ourselves on our diversity, with more than 10 different nationalities and a very tolerant and open culture.
So now you know where your focus lies, but what is the focus of the FEC team? Fighting financial crime within DLL and to provide excellent service by contributing to a safer and more secure financial system. As our Consultant, you will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.The FEC team is in the 1st line of responsibility (1Lo R) and we work closely together with the 2nd line of responsibility (2Lo R), our Financial Crime Compliance team. Most of the team works from our headquarters in Eindhoven where we support the regions and countries DLL has offices in, and some team members live elsewhere in Europe.

Day to day:
- Develop and visualize Power BI dashboards which support reporting to various committees focusing on Financial Economic Crime and Compliance at DLL and Rabobank Group (DLL is part of this group). An example could be a dashboard showing the risk rating of our customers and that you can apply different filters such as geography and type of industry. Another example could be how many customer transaction were flagged per time period and that you can also apply different filters.
- Provide the central FEC management team insights to support data-driven fact-based decision-making across various content areas.
- Support analysis with the creation of customized visuals to demonstrate trends and highlight hot topics.
- Develop reports to support Risk Control Framework (RCF) analysis including control testing, findings, incidents, and risk assessment results.
- Responsible for the creation of the new FEC Management Information dashboard (enterprise, regional and local i.e., countries).
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to create, monitor and maintain management information and reporting tools & dashboards.
- Support execution of various reporting such as product risk and staffing assessment through the sourcing and visualization of related data.
- Monitor and report on annual plan progress across Azure Dev Ops and Power BI reports.
- Support adherence to and development of best practices for data management.
- Two working days per year volunteering for a local charity.

Essentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI (Power Query), live data and Excel (able to manipulate and summarize data by making it meaningful for a broad audience).
- Basic proficiency with SQL.
- Strong analytical skills necessary to derive meaningful conclusions from data.
- For this role we require that you speak English on a professional level.
- Experience in the financial services industry and knowledge of FEC is not a must but certainly a plus.
