Your role in the story

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Corporate Recruiter to take our recruitment to the next level. Our goal is to be a top maritime employer and excel in career development, starting with a first-rate recruitment process.

As a Senior Corporate Recruiter, you will manage end-to-end recruitment and lead continuous improvement projects that align with our strategic objectives. You will switch seamlessly between strategic planning and operational tasks, refining all aspects of our recruitment process.

Your expertise in competency-based hiring and recruitment marketing will ensure we attract candidates who fit both the job and our culture. Using a data-driven approach, you will analyze insights on target groups to optimize recruitment strategies and make informed decisions.

You will play a key role as a business partner, advising internal clients at a strategic level based on data and insights from target group information, guiding recruitment efforts to align with broader and future proof business goals.

Your future colleagues

You will work closely with your Recruitment colleagues; Emmeline, Gerco, Corliz, Martijn en Charlotte and collaborate with the People and Organization Development teams, HR Business Partners, Hiring Managers, and the Communications Officer. You will report to our Lead Recruitment.

Is this the job for you?
  • Managing the full recruitment cycle for your portfolio, with a particular focus on HQ business support roles (HR, Commerce, Finance, Data, Digitalization, Legal, Procurement), you ensure a seamless hiring process.
  • Clear and consistent communication is key, keeping all stakeholders well-informed, connected, and engaged throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Innovation is driven within recruitment processes, techniques, and tools by leveraging data-driven insights to attract top talent and continuously improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.
  • Acting as a strategic business partner, you provide consultative advice to hiring managers, using data analytics and insights about target groups to shape effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Proactively applying expertise in assessments and competency-based hiring, you evaluate candidates' skills and potential for future internal growth, while also collaborating with recruitment marketing specialists to enhance employer branding.
  • Flexibility is crucial, as you seamlessly switch between strategic planning and operational execution to meet dynamic recruitment needs.

The ideal candidate is creative, results-oriented, and has a growth mindset. Additionally, you have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter with a proven track record in strategy and innovation.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or (Organizational) Psychology.
  • Experience and strong ability in driving change within a recruitment team.
  • Expertise in competency-based hiring and experience in (working with internal) recruitment marketing specialist(s) and functional knowledge of recruiting toolings.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
  • Currently residing in and eligible to work in the Netherlands is preferred.
