The IAM team at Rabobank manages all identities and access permissions to our global network. Rabobank uses a state-of-the-art IAM systems to manage e.g. IGA, PAM and Certificate Management. Our ambition is to further grow to a platform providing IAM services that are secure by design, seamless and plug-and-play for end users and most of all: Digital Only!
As the IAM (Identity and Access Management) Solutions Architect with focus on IGA, you are designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IAM solutions within our organization. As an IAM Solutions Architect, you play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of digital assets related to machine access.
You and your job
As part of the IAM architecture team your key responsibility is to translate our IAM vision into architecture and specifications, interacting with key stakeholders to achieve the best possible result. The team you will be part of is focussing on designing and implementing IGA for machines.Besides that you are also closely interacting with 10 other architects within our department and together take responsibility for the full architecture lifecycle, from new ideas into clear specifications and principles ready for detailed design.
We expect you have a good, generic overview and understanding of the capabilities of IAM solutions. Top responsibilities
- Translate high level targets into architecture, designs and a blueprint for solutions
- Rely on your experience in design patterns, published reference architectures and guidance from Business Architects and other (internal) stakeholders like the Cyber Defence Centre.
- Generate or enhance Architecture and Design artifacts such as a solution architecture document and technical requirements design document for each of the individual IAM components, diagrams, and technical presentations
- Work on new topics such as IGA for Machines, Scalable Token Service and more
You will also play a key role in monitoring and ensuring the quality of the work of the Dev Ops team and act as an expert in IAM capabilities and security control discussions.

You and your talent
- Academic thinking and work level with a Bachelor/Master degree in a relevant field of expertise.
- Experience with (hybrid) cloud environments and platforms (MS Azure, AWS and Google platform) and the IAM features they present
- Experience in working with IGA and Access Management products
- Knowledge and implementation experience with the usual IAM protocols for authentication, authorization, user provisioning and single sign-on, such as OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, SCIM
- Certifications may include: CISSP, CISM, MS MC: Azure Security Engineer. AZ-500 (preferred)
- Preference for candidates with training & experience with: TOGAF, SABSA, Archimate
- Strong creation & writing skills
- Excellent communication in English is required
- a gross monthly salary between € 4.292,- and € 6.130,- based on 36 hours per week in scale 9.
- 13th month and holiday pay: The holiday allowance and annual allowance are usually paid in 12 equal monthly installments. Once a year, employees have the option to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
- an Employee Benefit Budget (EBB) of 11% of your monthly salary. You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making additional pension contributions, or receiving a monthly cash payout.
- an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
- 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then, choose a commuting allowance.
- 172.8 vacation hours per year, including 1 diversity day.
- €450 to set up a home office that meets your needs.
- a monthly € 40,- net work-from-home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
- a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
- an attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%, in December you can also choose to contribute only 3.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%
