About us
We feel that banking has been set up against businesses for too long. From overdraft fees to payment processing, banking products are confusing, stressful, and frankly boring.Mollie was founded in 2004 in Amsterdam. Adriaan (our founder) wanted to change the status quo, aiming to provide a new generation of financial products designed to work entirely for our customers. Since then over 800 Mollie spread across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, the UK, Portugal and Italy have joined him in delivering this shared vision.
We are already serving 200,000 businesses across Europe and we are only getting started.
With over 50 nationalities, our globally-diverse workforce inspires us to not be limited by borders and expand our offering beyond our focus markets today. We believe in building high-quality products which are deeply local, catering to our customers needs in each of our countries of focus. In doing so, we require local knowledge and expertise.
