Job Overview
As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll enhance logistics operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring smooth workflows, accurate inventory management, and efficient transportation. This role provides the best of both worlds: meaningful team interactions and flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities- Distribution Center Operations: Manage daily logistics activities, resolving issues to keep operations on track.
- Transportation & Inventory Management: Collaborate with transport providers and 3PL partners for efficient goods movement and accurate inventory.
- Process Optimization: Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve logistics processes.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse key logistics metrics to drive informed decision-making and operational improvements.
- Vendor & Partner Collaboration: Build strong relationships with logistics providers to ensure top service levels.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure logistics documentation is accurate and meets regulatory standards.
- Cross-functional & Risk Management Support: Work closely with internal teams to align logistics with broader business goals and mitigate risks.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, ideally within the EMEA region.
- Technical Skills: : Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills to support decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent English skills; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
