Asset Management Assistant
In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated and closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team, on-site.
Your Tasks- Maintaining the inventory of all ICT assets with barcode scanner and real time update of the configuration item database, re-labelling damaged barcode labels, checking barcode labels and reporting items without barcode etc.;
- Provide support for physical reception of assets as well as find missing assets;
- Support with re-allocation of goods and warehouse logistics, sorting and clean-up of all unnecessary goods;
- Physical support during the inventory and cycle counts;
- Contribute to Configuration Management process implementation & improvements by developing and embedding into the operations process for IT assets and corresponding documentation;
- Contribute to ICT services improvements initiatives, in particular to configuration management and monitoring activities;
- Document the ICT process manuals for ITIL processes and associated procedural tasks across ICT.
- University Degree and more than 3 years of IT professional experience;
- More than 3 years of experience in managing ICT assets;
- More than 3 years of experience working in an ITIL environment;
- Good knowledge of client hardware (laptops, mobile phones, tablets);
- Good knowledge of asset management software and hardware assets lifecycle;
- Good knowledge of CMDB management and asset management processes;
- An ITIL Foundation certification would be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
