All of their systems are connected to this ERP system, and the migration will be quite complex. You will provide guidance on when and how to start this process. Additionally, this person should have hands-on knowledge of architectural topics, including databases, security, and other critical technical aspects, to ensure a seamless and secure migration

• Assess the company's current IT landscape and ERP system, evaluating existing processes, technologies, and infrastructure to create a good roadmap.
• Develop a comprehensive, detailed roadmap for the ERP migration, outlining key milestones, timelines, resource requirements, and risk management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
• Establish a robust documentation structure to improve knowledge sharing, streamline internal processes, and enable better collaboration, while ensuring that all IT-related procedures are clearly documented for future reference.
• Ensure the continuous, efficient operation of IT systems by proactively identifying potential risks, implementing mitigation strategies, and managing issues swiftly to minimize disruptions and maintain system stability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to thoroughly understand their IT needs, translating business requirements into effective technological solutions that align with the company's goals and drive operational efficiency.
• Work together with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and ensuring the delivery of sustainable, long-term solutions.
• Foster technology innovation and growth within the company by staying up-to-date with industry trends, recommending cutting-edge solutions, and helping drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead and manage IT-related projects ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints, maintaining project scope, and ensuring that outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
• Provide ongoing technical support and training to end users across the organization, empowering them to effectively use IT systems and tools while fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Profiel

A successful IT Manager a.i. should have:

• Proven experience in creating detailed roadmaps for ERP migrations, including comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure a successful transition.
• Experience in developing future-proof concepts by evaluating current IT environments and anticipating future technological needs to ensure scalability and adaptability.
• Hands-on technical knowledge enabling a deep understanding of complex issues and the ability to design practical, effective solutions for a wide range of IT challenges.
• Experience working on complex assignments where limited structure is in place, requiring a proactive approach to process creation, system design, and implementation in dynamic environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with a strong understanding of how to optimize systems for performance, security, and scalability.
• Proven experience leading IT transformations, guiding organizations through digital and technological changes to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Experience with Dynamics ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset, allowing for the identification of root causes and the implementation of solutions that align with business goals.
• A pragmatic personality with a results-oriented approach, ensuring that solutions are both practical and aligned with the organization's objectives.
• Independent and knowledgeable decision-maker, capable of taking ownership of projects and driving them forward with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that technical concepts are communicated clearly and that business needs are addressed.
