The Government Client Success Manager for UAV Solutions at Destinus plays a crucial role in building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with government stakeholders, acting as the primary liaison between the company and its public sector clients.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that Destinus cutting-edge UAV technologies are effectively aligned with the strategic objectives and operational needs of government agencies. By fostering trust and collaboration, the manager navigates complex bureaucratic processes to deliver exceptional service, resolve challenges proactively, and anticipate client requirements.

Staying attuned to policy shifts, geopolitical trends, and budgetary priorities is essential to support government partners in achieving their goals. The manager is responsible for guiding agencies through onboarding and training processes, equipping them with the resources and best practices needed to maximize the value of Destinus solutions.

Additionally, this role involves identifying opportunities to enhance partnerships by recommending advanced features, services, or upgrades, while collecting client feedback to refine offerings in collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Success in this role is measured through key performance indicators, such as client satisfaction, utilization, and retention. With a combination of technical acumen, strategic insight, and strong interpersonal skills, the Government Client Success Manager drives impactful partnerships that shape the future of aerospace technology.

Your main result areas are:

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with government stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring alignment between Destinus solutions and client objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between Destinus and government agencies, navigating complex bureaucratic structures to foster collaboration.
  • Work closely with government clients to define and achieve success metrics aligned with their mission-critical needs.
  • Ensure optimal integration and deployment of Destinus UAV solutions to meet operational goals.
  • Proactively address challenges and anticipate client needs to deliver a superior experience.
  • Stay informed of policy changes and geopolitical factors affecting government priorities and budgets.
  • Lead onboarding and training sessions for government teams to ensure effective use of Destinus UAV solutions.
  • Provide tailored resources, documentation, and best practices to enable government partners to maximize value.
  • Ensure contract renewals by demonstrating the measurable value of Destinus solutions to stakeholders.
  • Gather client feedback and collaborate with Destinus engineering and product teams to refine UAV offerings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Engineering, Public Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or related roles in the aerospace, defense, or UAV industry.
  • In-depth understanding of government procurement and regulatory processes in the weapon system military domain.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand and articulate UAV technology applications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and prioritize in dynamic environments.
  • Experience working with government agencies such as national defense departments, NATO or EDA.
  • Knowledge of UAV technology.
  • Background in defense and aerospace.
  • Dutch: native speaker
  • English: Fluent (required).
