Our client is a leading global logistics distribution and supply chain company specializing in contract logistics and supply chain solutions based nearby Eindhoven. It operates warehouse and distribution centers worldwide, leveraging automation, data-driven insights, and Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Functie

In this role as Warehouse Manager a.i. you will:

• Oversee daily inbound and returns operations, providing support for outbound activities when needed.
• Manage team performance through training, coaching, and development to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to implement strategies that optimize warehouse operations and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and foster a positive team culture, addressing employee relations issues as needed.
• Ensure achievement of customer metrics related to quality, responsiveness, and service levels.
• Implement and coach Lean Warehousing systems and processes for continuous improvement.
• Lead daily start-up activities with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on operational goals.
• Maintain reports and process documentation to ensure compliance and operational transparency.

Profiel

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in leading, managing, and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Background in warehouse operations, distribution, food, or production environments with hands-on industry expertise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Assignment for 12 months
