The internship
Do you want to work in a fast paced, fun & diverse team? GCU is responsible for building Marketing & Commerce Capabilities across the HEINEKEN world. Working closely with key Markets, Regional Teams and Global Commerce the GCU supports all of our commerce colleagues to drive superior balanced growth.
The successful candidate will primarily support across the Creativity workstream. Focus areas will include working closely with third party agencies to embed best practice, develop & roll out of capability building programs and drive inspirational content across the organizational.
In addition the candidate will support across the GCU team, opening up learning opportunities across Brand Building, Capability deployment and events.

The department
GCU: Global Commerce University is a fast paced, high energy team responsible for supporting our Markets in all Commerce capabilities. The team interacts will many departments and stakeholders and offers a huge opportunity to learn more about the wider HEINEKEN business and its portfolio of amazing brands.
The terms of employment- Your starting date is 1 February 2025
- The internship is fulltime
- The duration of the internship is 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
- It is a practice-oriented internship
- You will be based in Amsterdam
- During your internship, you have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setup
- You will receive an internship fee of €650 gross pm based on 40 hours per week (when you start at the 1st of January 2025).
- You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
- If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

- Knowledge of Consumer Marketing and/or Brand Development
- Excellent communication style (fluent in English)
- You are enrolled at an educational institution.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution, from which we receive proof of enrollment for the current academic year from you.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- Living in the Netherlands during internship (HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing).
