Functie
As Financial Controller for NSI, the Holding of the Industrial Water Solutions business unit , you will play a crucial role in the financial management, reporting, and strategic support of our rapidly growing international organization. You will oversee the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial data from over 45 entities worldwide.These reports form the basis for decision-making at both the NSI level and within the broader Saur Group in Paris.
You are not just someone who works with numbers - you understand the stories behind them. You are capable of quickly interpreting complex financial information, asking the right questions, and proactively driving improvements. In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues across regions and cultures, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and contributing to the professionalization and digital transformation of our financial processes.

Key responsibilities- Perform financial controlling and reporting activities across 45 global entities
- Manage monthly intercompany reconciliations and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Improve intercompany reconciliation processes and guide local finance teams
- Manage and maintain the IFRS16 tool (PRE)
- Oversee and expand the global cash-pool structure
- Consolidate and analyze monthly cash flow forecasts and report to group headquarters
- Prepare and review payment runs
- Maintain direct relationships with banks and the group's Treasury department
- Analyze working capital positions and ensure follow-up on improvements
- Monitor bank guarantees and credit facilities
- Drive the automation of bank monitoring and other key financial processes
- Support the annual budget process, consolidating revenue, working capital, and EBITDA figures across all entities
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement, modernization, and digital transformation of financial reporting and controlling processes
- Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in finance, accounting, or business administration, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an experienced finance professional who has built expertise in practice
- Proactive, self-starting attitude with the drive to elevate processes and outcomes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with and challenge stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
- Highly accurate in financial reporting and execution
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
- Experience in international environments and working with global teams is a strong advantage
