Senior Sales Manager - Building Materials

One of the world market leaders in the construction sector. They supply a full range of innovative finishing systems and materials for new construction and renovation all over the world.

• You have experience in managing sales teams, both in direct management and indirect management
• It is important that you have the ability to deal with change and to be able to take your team with you.
• You have a strategic vision and you are market-oriented.
• The construction column may be new to you, but you have the ability to quickly gain insight into how the market is structured.
• You are able to quickly build a network with our customers.
• You coach your employees, but situational leadership when requested is not new to you.
• You will directly manage six Commercial Technical Advisors.
• In addition, you will manage a Sales Manager who is responsible for the Specification market, consisting of six Project Advisors who focus on the prescribing market of large contractors and architects.
• The teams you are responsible for serve the whole of the Netherlands.
• You will be in the office for an average of 1 to 2 days per week.

• Completed HBO education in Commercial Economics, Construction Engineering or similar;
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Office 365, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote and Teams;
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus;
• Availability for 40 hours per week.
