Product Change Management (PCM) Technologist
(Zoetermeer – fulltime)
Supply Point Nutricia Zoetermeer (SPZ) in the Netherlands is manufacturing Danone specialized nutrition products for specific target groups, starting from early life nutrition all the way to adult frailty. The specialized nutrition division is an essential part of delivering the Danone mission to bring health through food to as many people as possible and fulfilling our ‘One Planet One Health’ vision to life.The Zoetermeer site’s masterplan will be rolled out within the coming years to upgrade the liquid medical nutrition plant and make it ready for future business needs.
The PCM team is part of the Engineering and Transformation organization, which plays a key role in the roll-out of the site’s masterplan and drives compliance by supporting day-to-day operations. The PCM technologist reports to the PCM manager and leads the implementation of change management for packaging, products and processes that has been initiated by various projects, e.g., innovation, renovation, fuel for growth, and supports day-to-day operations on high level escalations.
Your main responsibilities:
From this pivotal position you will be responsible for successful technical implementation of Product, Packaging & Processing changes following the responsibilities (for this position the focus will be on Product and Processing changes):
- Owner of the factory recipes, ensure that all relevant documentation and systems are compliant and up to date.
- Lead the implementation of change management, e.g. packaging, product and processes, and the product lifecycle management.
- Validate the Research & Innovation process / product specifications and translate properly into factory recipes, documentation, and systems.
- Support high level escalations from operations managing the root cause analysis and problem-solving.
- Coordinate the technical alignment with business leads for industrial trials (incl. alignment, risk assessments, reports) and all relevant factory functions.
- Identify and share best practices with other factories / departments.
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s or Master Degree in food technology, food industry or similar.
- Experience in Innovation, Product Development, Research & Innovation.
- Knowledge of liquid processing and medical food.
- Factory experience.
- Enthusiastic with a growth mindset and an action-oriented attitude, a strong team player.
- Very good communication and analytical skills.
- Autonomous and organization capability with ability to take ownership and deliver results.
- Creative thinking to drive value creation and problem-solving.
- Business fluency in English and Dutch.
