Functie

Our client is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer a.i. to strengthen their information security policies, ensure compliance with regulations, and safeguard data availability, confidentiality, and integrity. This is a flexible, hybrid role focused on strategic and tactical contributions to information security.

Key responsibilities:

• Define, maintain, and communicate information security policies while ensuring alignment with related domains like IT security, compliance, and risk management.
• Advise management on security risks, propose solutions, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., DORA, DNB).
• Monitor and report on organizational security measures, risk analyses, and incidents, ensuring effective implementation of Security by Design principles.
• Promote security awareness across the organization and actively share knowledge to engage colleagues in security initiatives.
• Provide regular updates to the board and management on cyber security risks, incidents, and improvement proposals.

Profiel

The ideal Information Security Officer a.i. will have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
• Certifications like CRISC, CISM, or CISSP (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of Cloud Security (preferably Azure), DORA, and DNB Good Practice.
• Analytical, ragmatic, hands-on, collaborative and strategic approach.
• Excellent Dutch language skills.
