The Work
As Windows System Engineer in Accenture Technology - Cloud First, you will play a pivotal role in driving our customers' cloud initiatives, leveraging Microsoft's Azure platform to design, build, migrate, and optimize scalable cloud solutions.Your expertise will be crucial in advancing our customers' cloud adoption strategies, ensuring security and optimizing their infrastructure through effective use of Azure's toolset and frameworks. - People You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services for our customers. Your ability to communicate effectively and mentor junior team members will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Process You will lead the implementation of the Cloud Adoption Framework for our customers, ensuring their processes align with best practices for cloud governance, security, and compliance. Your role will involve refining and enhancing our customers' DevOps processes, facilitating continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automating infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or Terraform.
- Technology Your in-depth understanding of cloud architecture and Azure's capabilities will be instrumental in designing, building, migrating, and optimizing workloads for robust landing zones and other cloud infrastructure components for our customers. You will utilize Azure DevOps tools and services to streamline project workflows and ensure the reliability and scalability of our customers' cloud environments.
- Task Starting in a dedicated Windows team. This team supports our customers on a daily basis. However, it doesn't stop at supporting, we are constantly striving to optimize and improve these environments. To make this easier, we like to automate with, for example, ARM templates, Ansible, PowerShell and Bash. In this team, our defining characteristic is the exceptional level of ownership we demonstrate. We work closely with other client teams and with the consulting team to deliver great results. It will be your job to implement and perfect complex IT environments for a long time. After implementation, you will monitor them, keep them running and continuously improve.
