We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands
As an Account Manager, you’ll be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with customers in the fresh produce sector. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and strengthen customer relationships by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Proactively engage with customers, conducting regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
- Research customer requirements, industry trends, and competitor offerings to stay ahead and provide relevant insights to customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, offering prompt and effective solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end order process to ensure accuracy and timeliness, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer specifications.
- Communicate regularly with customers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and address any adjustments needed.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure customer orders meet quality standards and specific requirements.
- Administer order-related tasks, including confirming orders, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.
- Champion excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and proactively working to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Sales Support.
- Knowledge of the fresh produce industry.
- Strong relationship-building skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional Saturdays.
- Familiarity with the fresh fruit or vegetable sector.
- Proficiency in Dutch is highly advantageous.
