Managing Director Netherlands - Kaiserkraft
You will build a strong, unified team, fostering trust and open communication while navigating the matrix organisation and working with stakeholders to achieve common goals. This includes driving the transition to solutions-based selling and strengthening customer relationships, particularly in the industrial and chemical sectors.
This role requires a resilient and adaptable leader to drive sales growth, implement strategic initiatives and coach team members. You will manage HR and finance issues with external partners and shared services and represent the Dutch office in international meetings.You will oversee the transition to eprocurement solutions, leveraging Kaiserkraft's extensive product portfolio and online presence.

The Lisse office in the Netherlands, with approximately 20 employees, is central to Kaiserkraft's European operations, serving industrial customers, primarily in the chemical industry. With an increasing focus on e-commerce and an expanding sales force, Kaiserkraft is investing in its future and aims to move towards electronic procurement solutions and become an indispensable one-stop shop for every company.
Job content- Lead and manage the sales and customer service team, fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture;
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue, customer growth, share of wallet and profit targets;
- Take full responsibility for the local P&L, working with the regional finance partner to monitor financial performance;
- Directly manage the local management team and field sales force, including key account managers, project and e-procurement experts;
- Work closely with centrally organised e-commerce and marketing functions to effectively meet local market needs;
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, focusing on the industrial and chemical sectors, and drive the transition to solutions-based selling;
- Represent the Dutch office in regional meetings and navigate the matrix organisation by fostering collaboration with stakeholders;
- Lead change initiatives and promote a culture of transparency, open communication and best practice sharing with other Managing Directors;
- Coach and mentor direct reports, driving personal and sales excellence within the team;
- Establish a performance driven, customer focused sales organisation to implement sales strategies, plans and initiatives;
- Collaborate with regional and central marketing to implement local marketing activities and drive success in the region.
Position within the organization
The Managing Director Netherlands is responsible for the Lisse office's performance, managing 20 employees, and reports to Regional Director Erik Einarsson.
Requirements
Kaiserkraft Netherlands is looking for a dynamic leader to manage change and inspire a team. The ideal candidate thrives on open communication, flexibility and collaboration.- Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, economics or related field;
- Proven leadership experience in sales or project management;
- Expertise in omni-channel sales structures having a robust understanding of e-commerce environment;
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills;
- Change management and organizational development experience;
- Track record in direct and solution/service selling; Excellent communication and people skills;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing;
- Preferably worked within an international group structure with a matrix set up;
- Technical/project sales experience a plus; Existing network in the industrial/chemical sector is a plus.
