Job Summary
Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a a skilled and motivated Electronics Test Engineer located in our Woerden, Netherlands site.The primary focus of this role is to conduct tests and measurements, analyze results, and provide expert advice to both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing test methods, managing testing teams, and contributing to design improvements.
What a typical day looks like:
- Prepare and execute test plans in collaboration with project teams and customers.
- Develop test methods to assess product properties and performance.
- Analyze test data, report findings, and communicate progress both verbally and in writing.
- Participate actively in project teams, providing insights on testing and design improvements, including consultancy on DFMEAs.
- Supervise and manage testers, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tests.
- Regularly report on status, activities, workload, and planning.
- Generate and maintain quality documents (SPTs, SPQs, WIs, and Lab Scope).
- Advise on new equipment purchases and draft specifications as needed.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure proper management of project plans and improvement initiatives.
- Archive test data and reports while supporting other departments.
- Ensure a clean, organized working environment, following all applicable guidelines.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree level education.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal).
- Strong reporting skills, concise and clear communication.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, electronics, vibration theory, and plastics.
- Ability to apply statistical methods and analyses.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards (ISO, TS16949, SPC, R&R, Six Sigma, 8D).
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
- Strong team player with customer-focused, analytical, and innovative problem-solving skills.
