We’re now entering an exciting phase of growth — and we’re looking for an Account Executive EU in The Netherlands to join our sales team and help us scale.

This role is key to expanding our customer base, building strong client relationships, and shaping the future of our company. By understanding customer pain points and aligning our offering to their needs, you'll be driving both customer success and company success.
Requirements
What You’ll Do- Develop and nurture our pipeline of new business
- Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand the customer’s manufacturing needs, operational goals, and their technical requirements
- Develop tailored proposals that align our digital manufacturing services with each customer's business objectives
- Lead sales presentations, demos, and meetings with engineers, operations managers, and executives
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to contract — including pricing, negotiation, and close
- Collaborate with our project managers, sales engineers and operations team to ensure solution feasibility and successful handoff to post-sale support
- Maintain accurate records of activities and opportunities in our CRM, providing reliable pipeline reports and insights
- Hit or exceed sales targets in alignment with broader team goals
- You live for the hunt for closing customers and drive home their first order
- You love cultivating early relationships with these customers to bring them to the next level
- 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role in a b2b environment - manufacturing experience is plus!
- Ability to understand and communicate the technical aspects of Shapeways’s manufacturing services
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload and perform in a fast paced, goal orientated environment
- Resilient & strong objection handling skills
- Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated
- Fluent English plus any other European language preferred
