Functie

• Oversee the plant's maintenance function, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation for planned and unplanned repairs.
• Utilize data-driven tools (e.g., CMMS) for monitoring equipment performance and optimizing maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry equipment standards.

1. Engineering & Technical Support

• Lead engineering initiatives to enhance plant infrastructure, processes, and systems.
• Oversee plant modifications, upgrades, and installations to support production requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and technical troubleshooting for equipment failures.
• Ensure timely, budget-conscious execution of engineering projects aligned with technical specifications.

1. Capital Investment & Project Management

• Lead and manage capital investment projects from planning to execution.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to align on investment strategies.
• Evaluate project feasibility, prioritize business needs, and ensure long-term operational benefits.
• Ensure compliance with project management best practices, including safety and environmental protection.

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, quality, safety, and other departments to align engineering and maintenance efforts with operational needs.
• Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities support production schedules and quality standards.
• Serve as a key liaison with regional and global functions, aligning local operations with strategic objectives.

1. People Management & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage team performance, set objectives, and support career growth through training programs.
• Promote an inclusive and safe working environment for all staff members.

1. Safety, Health & Environmental Stewardship

• Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and actively support plant safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) teams to ensure risk assessments and safety management systems are in place.
• Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in partnership with SHE teams.

Profiel

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
• 8-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in maintenance practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and CMMS systems.
• Proven experience managing capital projects, budgeting, and project execution.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies and digitalization in maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global/regional setting.
