Supply Chain Analyst

DP World is seeking a talented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Europe. We are looking for candidates preferably based in the Netherlands, UK, or Germany. This role is crucial in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring efficient and effective logistics solutions.

Collects, analyses and interpret data efficiently by identifying trends, patterns and opportunities for improvement. Adapt approaches and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic environments, especially when priorities change unexpectedly.

The Analyst is expected to work closely with key stakeholders, including their manager, project team and other key players to understand client’s requirements and pain points in order to use the trends and patterns in the data to enable the design of solutions that address these needs, improve processes and drive efficiencies while being sensitive to costs.

• Detailed analysis of clients’ data and supply chain operations to support a design of improved value chain solutions, in support of growing DP World clients and revenue.
• Ability to structure and build logical analytical/process models leading to plausible scenarios modelling.
• Process mapping and reengineering.
• Readily identify constraints and areas for improvement within a client’s supply chain.
• Propose plans to optimize processes, reduce costs and enhance the overall supply chain performance.
• Presentation construction and report writing.
• Meet deadlines & deliver on commitments.

• What you will bring

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Eng. Industrial or BCom Logistics (Honors) or BCom Supply Chain Management (Honours) or Bachelor’s degree in business analytics / maths.

Experience:

• 4 – 6 years' relevant work experience (operations and/or analytics role).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw insights and make practical recommendations.

Definite asset:

• Experience and affinity with the assigned Industry Vertical
• Exposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirements.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI). You are able to provide analyze results in PPT format.
• Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel between 30% of the time across the region.
