Job Summary:
The Network Coordinator will, under minimal supervision, be responsible for supporting and managing customer order requirements at designated ports. The Network Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations.The position is ultimately responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders in the ports.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders from Customer Service Representative (CSR) through to delivery locations
- Process required paperwork to move products from one location to another, including across international borders
- Purchase required products as required to fill customer orders
- Communicate with Customer Service department to advise on status of customer orders
- Conduct inventory at assigned locations
- Process warehouse delivery receipts as well as processing receipts into warehouse
- Process transfers from warehouse
- Shipping – basic documentation preparation and handling
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:
- 1-3 years prior order processing and fulfillment experience
- Proficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Must have excellent communications skills
- Must have strong listening skills
- Must have strong problem solving skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, time controlled environment; ability to multi-task
- Customer service orientation
- Prior supply chain experience a plus
- Prior JD Edwards systems experience a plus (JDE planning program)
- Prior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)
- Prior purchasing experience a plus (transactional)
Education/Certifications:
- High School diploma/GED required
Physical Working Environment:
The position works in a climate controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
