(Senior) Solution Architect
Job Description
The newly formed Data & Insight (D&I) Area in the Tribe Identity and Access Management (IAM) is looking for an experienced solution architect to join our two squads that are responsible for developing D&I capabilities for the tribe and the whole bank.The Tribe is divided in four areas: two that focus on offering IAM services to employees and engineers and two (where D&I is part of) responsible to build a platform and core functionality to support every IAM need of Rabobank.
The D&I Area is responsible for bringing IAM data into the global data platform, curating data to address key IAM challenges and developing machine learning and AI capabilities to automate and bring artificial intelligence into IAM services.Our data and consumption patterns range from reporting to real-time analytics. To give you an example of the complexity of the solutions that you will have to develop, the Tribe is developing PBAC (policy-based access control) and our area plays a key role.
You and Your Job
As a D&I Solution Architect, you are responsible to make sure that D&I service are state-of-the-art, highly performant and easy to use. As an architect, you are responsible of the quality of the technical design, realized solution and the data architecture.One of your key challenges will be to design solutions that can have a big impact in short time, but more importantly bringing D&I to the next level of collaboration with the different areas in the tribe and our users. Your knowledge and experience will be of use across the whole Tribe as many of the end-to-end products have a strong data & analytics component.
Within the Area, we will develop many services, where you are leading in designing security and taking along the squads for implementation. You will be a linking pin between the business architect and the squads; your role is key for alignment and linking key analytical developments to business outcomes.
You will be using cutting edge technologies and have the opportunity to lay the foundation and vision on IAM D&I solutions. The area contributes towards IAM goals to enhance security, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.Analytics at Rabobank is quite advanced. The CDAO organization offers many platforms and capabilities to fulfil many analytics use cases. They also set the standards and frameworks to govern analytics at the bank. Your role is to ensure that we utilize those platforms in the best way and that we adhere to the policies.
Part of your role will include constant alignment with your CDAO peers.
Top Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into a technical design that fits into the (enterprise & analytics) architecture
- Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of technical designs and realized solutions
- Guarantee the usability of the products by ensuring the following points: quality, performance, availability, scalability, security, privacy, integrity and accessibility
- Advocate the capabilities that your squads deliver in supporting other squads within the Tribe
- Pro-actively monitor market developments
- Align solutions with the overall Tribe's business architecture and business ecosystem
- Academic degree (MSc / Phd) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- You have at least 3 years of experience as a dedicated Solution Architect with strong analytics and cloud experience.
- Knowledge/experience with designing Analytics and native cloud solutions (data ingestion, data lakes, reporting, machine learning, graph analytics, real-time analytics, …)
- Understand technologies used within IT Rabobank, e.g., Azure Cloud and Azure Dev Ops
- Knowledge/experience (hands-on) in the field of AI and real-time analytics
- Practical experience with architecture methods and techniques (e.g. Archimate, DYA, TOGAF)
- You are not afraid to voice your professional opinion and have an open view on the future
