Treasury Intern
THE ROLE
Sun Chemical Group Treasury is a corporate function based in The Netherlands but has multiple tasks & responsibilities with a global scope. Main areas of expertise are: cash management, risk management, funding and banking services and relations.Currently, group treasury consists of a small team of young specialists (4-5) and is working closely together with other corporate functions (e.g. Tax and Fin. Accounting department, legal, Credit & Collections) as well as local controllers at subsidiary level.
The internship program (full time) is part of Sun’s philosophy to grow motivated (future) team members internally by offering talented people an opportunity to learn and explore working within an international environment. Master program students and post graduates are more than welcome to apply given Sun Chemical's intention to grow our global team.Next to obtaining a good insight in typical group treasury dynamics, we expect the intern to participate in daily, weekly, monthly standard activities & reporting next to being assigned a project or joining a project team. Accurately entering and tracking orders while managing stock levels to meet demand.
- Keep recurring treasury reporting cycles up to date
- Process and improve global monthly FX reporting
- Daily reporting global cashpool balances
- Manage cash flow forecast of global liquidity
- Process intercompany funding payments
- Check & settle & reporting of FX & funding contracts
- Support on monthly mark to market valuation of our derivative portfolio
- Handle Treasury compliance reporting
- Participate Ad-hoc projects & assignments

YOUR PROFILE- Currently studying master in finance / accounting / treasury
- Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
