HR Operations Specialist
As an International HR Operations Specialist, you manage end-to-end HR processes across five countries, with a strong focus on Germany. You ensure smooth onboarding, offboarding, accurate administration, payroll coordination, compliance with local labor laws, and drive process improvements and HRIS optimization.
Job responsibilities
The International HR Operations Specialist will:
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes across regions.
- Manage HR documentation, process employment changes, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll in collaboration with third-party providers.
- Maintain and improve HRIS, ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefits, pensions, and statutory registrations.
- Support the implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
- Continuously improve HR processes and policies with a focus on efficiency and employee experience.
Position within the organization
The specialist is part of the HR Operations team and reports to the HR Operations Lead. The role involves regular collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers.

Requirements

You also identify with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar international HR operations role.
- In-depth knowledge of German labor law.
- Proven experience managing payroll across multiple countries.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Personio is a strong plus.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
