Software Engineer- 40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)
Software Engineer
As a software engineer at our company, you have the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic team of professionals from various disciplines, including software, mechanics, electronics, and chemistry. Together, we are revolutionizing the printing industry through the use of advanced printing and workflow software applications.
As a member of our application and system development team, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest software technologies, including .NET Core and Entity Framework for developing microservices that can be deployed in a variety of environments, from cloud-based to desktop applications, printer controllers, and on-premises servers.You'll also get to work with our own Angular-based UI-framework to develop user interfaces for these components. The team's software development environment is built on Microsoft products such as Azure Cloud, Azure Dev Ops, and Visual Studio.
You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with talented colleagues from Timișoara (Romania) and Poing (Germany) to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
You discuss your ideas with your peers and jointly develop smart creative solutions that meet the overall project objectives. You work in an agile development team where you design, prototype, engineer, review and test your components.
Who are we looking for?You are an enthusiastic, motivated and creative thinker, eager and able to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies. You are a pro-active team player willing to work within a team that is possibly co-located in different sites.
You have the drive and competencies to deliver quality software within functional, architectural and timing constraints, taking ownership of your work and supporting your fellow team and project members.
Furthermore the following applies to you:
- A Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or Informatics (or proven experience in this area on similar level).
- Basic knowledge of, and experience with, C# and/or Angular/Type Script.
- Experience with Git, Azure Cloud, Azure Dev Ops and/or Visual Studio is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
