Role Overview

As an HR Officer, you will play a key role in facilitating HR processes, ensuring smooth administrative operations, and supporting various HR projects. You will handle HR inquiries, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external HR-related inquiries.
  • Manage HR administration, including employee records, contract management, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with benefit providers and ensure timely processing of benefits.
  • Preparing employment contracts.
  • Oversee and execute administrative tasks related to onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle events.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and report sick leave, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and legislative changes.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR administration or HR generalist role.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to take ownership of HR processes.
  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., HiBob) and payroll processing is a plus.
