Distribution Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the distribution process, from order fulfillment to shipping.
• Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies to enhance service levels and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor and analyze distribution performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding distribution operations.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize stock to meet customer demand without overstocking.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on distribution performance to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the distribution team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Resolve any distribution-related issues promptly to maintain operational flow.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in distribution and logistics management.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in a distribution management role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of distribution processes and logistics operations.
• Proficient in distribution management software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing and developing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as needed for business requirements.
