Functie

The candidate will collaborate closely with external partners and internal teams to ensure robust, scalable security systems.

• Collaborate with and challenge IT partners to ensure security decisions align with organisational goals.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Design and implement secure IT architectures, ensuring the organisation's technical landscape is resilient against cyber threats.
• Facilitate operational and security meetings to address risks and strategize improvements.
• Identify cyber security risks and propose actionable solutions to mitigate them.
• Transfer cyber security knowledge to other teams, helping elevate overall security standards.

Profiel

The ideal Cyber Security Officer a.i. should have the following qualities:

• Experienced cyber security professional with a demonstrated ability to work across technical and strategic domains. While hands-on technical execution is not required, a strong foundational knowledge of IT and security practices is essential to understand risks and provide actionable guidance.
• Comfortable bridging technical and business perspectives, ensuring security measures align with organisational goals
• Strong stakeholder management skills: Skilled in collaboration with both IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with clear communication skills.
• Able to identify risks and implement effective solutions through a pragmatic approach.
• Fluent in Dutch
