Overview:
Blackhawk Network is a global market leader in one of the most widely used means of payment; the gift card. Our office in Amsterdam focuses, among other things, on developing and selling our own multi-choice gift cards and experience boxes in the Benelux.Here we are continuously optimizing current products, developing new concepts and we will soon introduce an overarching brand within the retail, business and e-commerce landscape.
In addition, Blackhawk organizes the complete external gift card distribution in the Netherlands for more than 45 national and international brands, such as Bol.com, Zalando, Google, De Bijenkorf and Apple and we are the exclusive category manager for channels such as Albert Heijn, HEMA and Bruna.
Within the organization, the Product Team is the owner and commercially responsible for a series of successful choice gift cards such as RestaurantCadeau, FashionCadeau, KidsCadeau and BeautyCadeau in the Netherlands, and we are involved in the expansion of these products to Belgium and France.These products are characterized by being interchangeable with a selection of different partners and brands, with which we offer choice & give consumers the certainty to always choose the right gift.

Responsibilities:
As Product Manager you will be given full day-to-day responsibility for a number of (physical and digital) gift cards within our portfolio, which includes RestaurantGift and FashionCadeau, and you will ensure that we can continue to innovate our product range with existing and new gift card concepts, in existing and new countries.
In this role you are you are continuously analyzing the performance of our products against the defined KPIs. In addition, you are always developing your knowledge of our consumer, the market and the competitor and use this to ensure that we are always one step ahead.
You are responsible for working with all sales teams and Product Marketing team to develop and understand our growth strategy for our products and in turn ensuring stock forecasting and print forecasting is carried out in a timely manner to ensure reprints and stock is available.
You will work with the creative development around new innovative designs to optimize our existing gift cards. You work closely with various departments within the company to ensure that the targets are met, innovation projects are successfully launched and the customer journey for consumers is always optimal for our Products.
Your work consists of researching and recognizing opportunities in the market, which you substantiate with qualitative data and a financial model. You shape the new products by determining the acceptors network and are involved in the design process.In addition, you record the brand strategy and execute it by preparing and pitching sales presentations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in product management or equivalent relevant experience
- A completed hbo education or higher
- Preferably already some work experience
- Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI is an advantage
- An excellent command of the Dutch and English language
- A flexible working attitude and team player
- Are available full-time
