As an Ocean Freight Forwarder – Export, you kickstart your day with a fresh coffee and an instant overview of all your ongoing shipments. You coordinate with carriers, check if everything is on schedule, and handle documentation with ease. Even when a container needs to be rerouted last minute, you keep your cool and get it done.You’re the crucial link that ensures every customer enjoys a smooth, stress-free shipping process—every single day. Your responsibilities- You coordinate and manage export shipments from A to Z
- You place bookings with ocean carriers and consolidation partners
- You handle questions from clients, agents, and international network offices
- You build and maintain strong customer relationships with a personal touch
- You create and follow up on all necessary export documentation
- You arrange transportation for cargo pickup
- You initiate and monitor customs clearance procedures
- You ensure correct invoicing to clients and network partners
- You have 2 to 3 years of experience as an ocean freight forwarder or in a similar role
- You speak and write fluent Dutch or English
- You work independently and take initiative
- You’re client-focused and always keep an overview
- You switch easily between tasks and tight deadlines
- You’re experienced in the complete export process
- You’re comfortable with digital systems and logistics software
- A direct contract with an international logistics company
- Gross monthly salary between €3500 and €4000 based on a 40-hour week
