Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Description Summary
Are you passionate enough to enter the medical device industry? This is your chance to come and work in our ISO 13485 certified production facility in Drachten, The Netherlands. To further strengthen our Quality Assurance team, we are looking for a (junior) Quality Engineer who is able to ensure the high safety and quality standards of our products throughout the supply chain.
Quality is not only made by the quality department, but by all of us. Every day, with every decision. As a driver of the quality policy, you are able to translate this at the cross-functional and various levels in the organization.
The stimulating part of this function is the combination of operational and hands-on activities, as well as the process-driven and fact-based approach where you initiate and support process and product improvements.
Job Description

As our future colleague:
- You are the ambassador and driving force behind our quality policy and have a growing mindset to work according to a regulated quality management system.
- Conduct risk-based documentation assessments and final releases of our medical devices.
- Identify, address and follow up on nonconformities in a cross-functional team.
- Initiate and support process and product changes through regulated Change Management processes.
- You have an eye for detail and a view of the bigger picture.
- Being able to switch quickly; are you ready to navigate a supply chain or market escalation through our quality management system?
In addition, our ideal candidate:
- Has a MBO+/HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar. Knowledge may also have been acquired through practical experience.
- A Dutch and English-speaking sparring partner, someone who can independently and in their own way take the creative lead in complex projects.
