Functie
Your role will have you directly supporting 6 to 8 Line Managers. Regular discussions with these key individuals will be part of your mandate, ensuring operations run smoothly. Integral to your role is the identification of potential HR-related risks and the formulation of appropriate action plans, thereby providing robust support to Line Managers in various scenarios.Furthermore, you will play a significant part in HR projects, supporting the HR Leadership and managing the HR calendar and activities included.
Supported by two HR Specialists, you will also be accountable for the smooth management and execution of HR operations. These include hiring, prepare documents for the onboarding, employee transitions, training, and reporting. While the recruitment process is primarily handled by external recruiters, your responsibility lies in coordinating the hiring process and ensuring overall efficient execution.
The Department
You will become part of the Amsterdam HR team, which comprises the CHRO, the Compensation & Benefits Director, the HRBP Director, the Sr. HRBP and two HR Specialists. This supportive and collaborative team operates within the same department, maintaining a close-knit approach to ensure the well-being and productivity of all staff members.
Responsibilities- First point of contact for your business lines for advising on HR related
- First point of contact & advising stakeholders on Learning & Development related
- Coordinate and advise on the annual appraisal
- Support on the various audits impacting the HR
- Manage HR policies and pro-actively give input to keep these up to
- Managing leave process, monitor compliance of self-service around holiday/special leave and advise on special leaves such as parental leave, unpaid leave, etc.
- Give input on improvement of employee wellbeing and prevention of sick
- Manage (outsourced) recruitment activities for your business lines (ensure on-offboarding is adequately executed by the HR Specialists).
- Managing employee cases (legal disputes, long term sick leave, performance, exits, etc).
Profiel
Desired skills and experience- At least 2-3 years of work experience in an international HR advisory
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or
- Fluently written and verbal Dutch and
- Basic level of employment law and CLA (Collective Labor Agreement).
- Strong problem-solving skills as well as planning and organizational
