Your challenges
  • Providing tailored advise to our clients on their data transformation journey and the required architectural set-up and associated challenges
  • Offering technical leadership to the Powered Data Migration team and ensuring solutions operate securely

  • Coach and mentor junior team members from a technical perspective, fostering their growth within the technology stack
This is what you bring
  • A minimum of 6 years hands-on work experience, preferably with a balance in consulting and non-consulting.
  • Hands-on experience and track record with ERP architectures (SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365), data modelling and data management concepts.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, SQL, Python, Dax and any other coding languages.
  • Experience with Azure services (optional).
  • Extensive knowledge of architecture methods and frameworks, such as TOGAF.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills to guide and develop the technical capabilities of junior team members/architects.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written. Proficiency in the Dutch language is optional and not decisive.
  • You are flexible to travel internationally for your clients.

What will you do in this position?

And transforming the business entails transforming your data. Easier said than done as data transformation is complex and multi-dimensional.

Within the KPMG Powered Data Migration team, we are looking for a Data Architect that can support in shaping the architectural foundation for our clients migration journey as part of their business and data transformation.
With use of our proven global end-to-end Powered transformation methodology, we effectively and efficiently support the business and data transformation of our clients.

As an experienced entrepreneurial advisor part of the Powered Data Migration team, You are considered as the expert in data architectures as part of transformation projects and will be in a position in which you can make impact and lead by example.

The areas in which you advise are highly diverse and dependent on the client context and journey.

As a Manager Data Architect you will be working shoulder-to-shoulder with business and data teams on large projects, taking a lot of responsibility early on. You will be co-designing with and presenting for client executives in no-time, supported by your team members and manager.
Typical projects where you will be part of are ERP transformations, M&A projects and/or specific data migration projects with a defined scope (this could be replacement of systems, data migration driven by regulatory requirements etc.). These projects all have ‘Data’ as a critical condition for success and hence ‘Data’ will lie in the heart of your daily work.
