The successful candidate will find themselves working in a modern workshop equipped with a shielded area for the completion of necessary assembly, welding and grinding work. In this position, the successful candidate is responsible for independently carrying out all common repairs, servicing and preparing agricultural machines and tractors for delivery both within the workshop and on-site.
Remuneration: Euro 3909 p.m.
Requirements:
- No candidates older than 28 years will be considered.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a suitable field. Trade test required for artisans.
- Relevant working experience in the field of repair to heavy machinery - including hydraulics, electrics and diesel engine mechanics
- Willing to work with flexible working hours - including call-outs.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Afrikaans is also required in order to integrate using the Dutch language more easily.
Duties:
- Independently repair, service and prepare machines for delivery.
- According to written instructions, register the used materials and labour.
- Follow up the planning and orders made by the supervisor.
- Monitoring own safety and that of bystanders during work.
- Responsible for the quality of his/her own work.
- Presenting the company correctly in appearance and deeds during working hours.
- Complete work on location and at the workshop.
