Salesforce Test Engineer (Kotlin, Typescript)

As we gradually migrate away from Salesforce, we’re also looking for someone who can contribute to testing our new stack built with Kotlin (backend) and TypeScript (frontend) — and help shape a future-proof test strategy from the ground up.

This is how you'll help reinvent food retail:

• You’re an experienced Salesforce Tester who’s ready to help us move toward a more automated and scalable test approach — and you know how to build that strategy from scratch.
• You’re not limited to Salesforce: you have strong experience testing backend and frontend web applications, ideally using Kotlin and TypeScript.
• You bring a strong quality mindset and help foster a culture where testing is an integral part of development, not a separate task.
• You understand the value of increasing test coverage and the impact of smart, maintainable test automation.
• You’re confident with exploratory testing and know how to quickly surface quality risks.
• You actively embed QA best practices across every phase of the development lifecycle.
• You take ownership of the quality of the user stories on your team’s backlog.
• You’re an active contributor to our QA guild, eager to share learnings and adopt best practices across teams.
• You collaborate across teams to align testing efforts on cross-functional products and dependencies.

• You raise your voice when necessary and bring your opinion to the table. Assertiveness and a pro-active attitude is a must for this role!
• Solid and proven experience as a Test Engineer Salesforce both manual as moving towards automation. You ensure quality of the product as a whole.
• You have a good understanding of programming principles, code structure etc. As such you can participate in tech conversations on the same level as programmers.
• Have affinity and knowledge of backend systems and with the integrations that come with it. The team is responsible from end to end, so you need to get the bigger picture.
• Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbally).

Bonus points for:

• Experience with both backend and frontend test automation setups.
• Experience testing Salesforce applications.
• Familiarity with Cypress for frontend automation.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.
