Functie

The Operations Manager EMEA is responsible for the European Supply Chain of DuBois and is part of the European Leadership Team (ELT).

The position has a broad range of managerial responsibilities for Procurement, Production, Building and Grounds, Inventory, Maintenance, Logistics, Replenishment, Customs, EHS and leading the company's emergency response team (BHV). The position currently covers 3 production locations in the Netherlands (Cimcool Vlaardingen, Blendfill Vlaardingen and Blendfill Maassluis).Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall Operations, achieving daily OTIF deliveries to customers, meeting agreed quality standards.
• Ensure a working environment where safety, quality, working conditions and the environment are important.
• Successfully managing the Operations within budget and setting up annual plan
• Propose yearly CAPEX budget and responsible for the execution of approved projects
• Manage current and future projects for potential expansion and integration
• Initiate and deliver continuous improvement, managing cost
• Development of employees and organisation
• Manage team of 6 direct and approximately 34 indirect reports
• Upgrade and scale manufacturing operations to optimise the manufacturing capabilities of the various sites and to drive improvements in safety, costs, efficiency, and customer responsiveness.

Profiel

For the position of Operations Manager EMEA you have:

• A BSc and/or MSc in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technology or an other relevant education;
• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a successful team manager within a production environment (preferably chemicals) Manufacturing and Production - Process experience is a must;
• A Pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset;
• Strategic and creative mindset with a focus on solutions
• Practical approach and you are hands on
• Experience in leading change;
• Project Management experience;
• Fluent in Dutch and English;
