Marketing Coordinator (32-40 hours per week) – THPCWe are looking for:
Our team at The Hague Pathway College (THPC) is looking for a Marketing Coordinator. In this role you create and coordinate the daily marketing and communications activities within the College and guide our students in their international student journey.
You contribute to creating solid and creative marketing plans to enhance the College’s brand and appeal. During the yearly cycle you also support your team by playing an active role in supporting the pre-arrival process of students, including admissions, visa and enrolment.

The Hague Pathway College receives students from about 50 countries globally. In close partnership with The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) our small dedicated team consisting of highly skilled teachers and supporting staff from around the world offers pathway education for international students.
After successful completion of their study period at THPC, students are fully prepared to progress to their degree programmes at THUAS. THPC is part of Navitas, the world’s leading provider of pathway education.

Role:
The role has as main goal to maintain and enhance the College’s value proposition. Your stakeholders and co-creators are located within and outside The Netherlands. Withing the College team you work closely with your manager, the admissions team and the student recruitment coordinator.
You work closely with the University Partner (The Hague University of Applied Sciences) and then there is frequent collaboration with our overseas central divisional marketing team based in the UK and Navitas in-market colleagues around the globe.
In this role you will take care of development of marketing collateral, cross media brand awareness, online campaigns and the ongoing management of the College’s social media, This will be based on marketing and communications plans to which you actively contribute.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather information and create compelling content for newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials.
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and insights that inform marketing strategies.
- Coordinate logistics for events, including open days, and alumni gatherings.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital assets.
- Support students with accommodation requests.
- Contribute to the visa process for students during peak periods.
- Assist with admissions tasks during peak periods.
Your expertise and skills
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of work experience in marketing, communications, or a related area (internships included).
- Experience in creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, and Linked In.
- Experience in setting up and managing online campaigns
- A good, creative eye for creating new content such as testimonials, success stories, combining text and visual content
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- You have an internationally oriented mindset through studies internships, work, or came to the Netherlands as an international student
- A team player with a collaborative approach
- Excellent intercultural awareness and communication skills across different audiences and backgrounds
- Experience with Power Point, content management systems, and basic knowledge of design software
Location of this position will be at the main campus of The Hague University of Applied Sciences in The Hague next to one of the main train station in the city. Work from home options are part of our team’s work arrangements, however presence on campus for multiple days per week will be required.
