Clear Engineering are working with a leading engineering and construction company who have a strong global presence. Specializing in delivering innovative solutions across various sectors, they are at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies.I am currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Management System (BMS) Project Manager to join their team and contribute to a groundbreaking hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands.
As the BMS Project Manager, you will take a leadership role in overseeing the design, implementation, and successful delivery of the Building Management System for a state-of-the-art hyperscale data centre. You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals and contribute to the seamless integration of BMS solutions to ensure the project's success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the BMS project, from conceptualization to commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians to ensure the timely and quality execution of BMS solutions.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial targets.
- Conduct regular project reviews and performance assessments, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive project team environment to drive innovation and excellence.
- Interface with clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in successfully managing large-scale BMS projects, preferably in hyperscale data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and protocols related to BMS (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse project team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with hyperscale data centre infrastructure is highly advantageous.
