For our client, a global technology leader in the design, manufacture, and customer support of premium light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles, we're looking for talented Embedded Software Engineers to join our team in the Application Software Department of Embedded Engineering, based in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Your Role as Embedded Software Engineer:

As an Embedded Software Engineer at our client, you'll be responsible for designing and developing software that powers the brains of our vehicles. You'll join a team of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about delivering the highest quality software solutions.

What you'll do:

• You'll work on developing cutting-edge software for engine controllers and vehicle controllers.
• You'll play a key role in our full model-based software development process, a unique approach in the industry.
• You'll contribute to the development of software that is used not only our own vehicles, but also in other brands.
• You'll help us create software that is used by leading bus and coach manufacturers.

Your Skills and Experience:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• You have a strong understanding of design patterns and at least 5 years of experience with Python, C, C++ (or equivalent).
• You have experience working with Matlab/Simulink & Stateflow.
• You're familiar with CI/CD processes.
• You're comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• You're proficient with Azure Devops, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Runners, or equivalent.

Bonus Points:

• You have a background in the automotive industry.
• You have personal projects on GitHub (or equivalent) that you can showcase and discuss during the interview.
• You're eager to learn, show perseverance, and take initiative for continuous improvement.
• You understand the basics of logic gates and boolean operations.
