For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a HR Officer in Strategic Planning & Governance Department!
What are you going to do?
Role summary:
- The Strategic Planning and Governance Department is looking for an HR (Business Partner) Officer. The HRBP Officer plays a crucial role in supporting HR Business Partners by providing administrative assistance, maintaining HR data, and facilitating key HR activities to ensure alignment with the Agency's strategic workforce planning, talent management, and overall business objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining and analyzing HR data, generating HR reports, and contributing to various HR projects. The role also involves liaising with other HR services to address daily queries, supporting workforce planning activities, and contributing to the automation of HR data analysis processes.
Standard role duties & responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and delivery of programmes, projects, initiatives, strategies, risk assessment, tools and opinions, in a result orientated and compliant way and within the parameters of the legal framework;
- Oversee the update and maintenance of the relevant tools, databases and records according to and in line with the relevant standards;
- Ensure that ad hoc requests, such as creation of workflows, analysis, reporting and the associated communication activities are in place and well managed;
- Implement customer satisfaction initiatives by highlighting, mitigating and communicating risks;
- Responsible for the delivery of HR strategies, related projects and initiatives and the development of the HR operational programme within the areas of expertise;
- Responsible for the identification of new HR initiatives, trends and innovations;
- Manage the development and implementation of IT tools relevant to the service with the focus on providing added value and efficiencies;
- Manage the revision of HR policies, including coordination within the Service and with relevant stakeholders in accordance with the priorities of the Service.
- Role specific duties & responsibilities
- Among other challenging tasks, the HRBP Officer will mainly focus on:
- Supporting the resourcing process and cycle that includes managing resourcing requests, filing, follow-up actions and updating records and files;
- Maintaining and updating HR Databases and Reports shared with leadership teams in each organizational entity;
- Liaising and aligning with other HR-related services on daily questions and requests.
- Administrating resourcing decisions in relation to position management and alignment with Resourcing Planning team;
- Updating working instructions, guidance documents, templates and other process improvement documents.
What do we offer?
A fulltime, temporary job from 1-04-2025 until 31-12-2025;
Salary range:
- 4,757.33 gross per month (5 years of experience)
- 5,382.68 gross per month (5 - 17 years of experience)
- 6,890.74 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)

What do we ask?
Education:
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma.
Experience:
- Up to 3 years of full-time relevant professional experience
- Skills and Knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and strong user of Microsoft suite apps
- Knowledge of the EU legal framework.
Nice to have:
- Experience in developing HR concepts, programmes, practices; in using and implementing modern tools;
- In data analytics; in working within an EU or national regulatory body; in public administration or HR department.
- PowerBi reporting experience, knowledge of SAP Successfactors HR
- module, SAP HR, and interest in new technologies implementation
- Certificates
- CIPD or similar HR certificate and/or related field of study (Sociology, HR, Social science, Law, Administration, Psychology).
