Your Role as a Contract Lifecycle Manager

As a key member of the Contracting Center of Excellence team, you will oversee daily contracting operations within the procurement teams. Your responsibilities will include improving processes, optimizing workflows, and managing contract lifecycle follow-ups.

You will work closely with various stakeholders, including legal, process excellence, and procurement teams, to ensure seamless legal operations. Additionally, you will conduct quality assurance reviews to guarantee contracts are accurate, complete, and compliant with established standards.

The Contracting Center of Excellence is a dedicated team committed to establishing and maintaining best practices, standards, and expertise throughout the contract management lifecycle. Serving as a centralized hub, they streamline and optimize contracting processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to termination.
  • Supervise and support the Contract Specialist team, delegating tasks effectively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated contract-related topics.
  • Train and support buyers on contracting processes and associated tools.
  • Coordinate contract approval processes, ensuring necessary signatures are obtained.
  • Identify and assess risks within contracting processes and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within contract management.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role within an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with legal processes.
  • Proficiency in contract management tools and software (Zycus preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
