DevOps Engineer - Amsterdam
Looking for an experienced IT Dev Ops Engineer with a drive for continuous improvement, to strengthen the Cash squad that is responsible for all Cash services for ING Nederland. With API’s and third party suppliers, the landscape is challenging, and we are looking for one to pick up the glove.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Solution-focused and broadly developed: able to design, develop, test, deliver and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- The experienced Dev Ops Engineer actively monitors, manages, tests, deploys and operates the cash applications interfaces noting the detailed technical behavior and performance across all aspects of the application to proactively identify and prevent operational problems.
- He/she continuously improves the automation of deployment with Azure pipelines, Ansible playbooks, operational tools.

As an Dev Ops engineer you are enthusiastic about acquiring and transferring knowledge to others.
Technical skills:
- Have experience with Java, Spring, APIs, Databases and Linux.
- Have knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like: Azure Dev Ops pipelines, GIT, Ansible.
- Have knowledge of monitoring and have experience using tools like Grafana, Prometheus and ELK as well as being able to write scripts (bash/shell).
- Have experience with security layers of applications and understand the risk culture of ING.
- Have experience with Docker and containerization.
Soft skills:
- Be a strong team player and have good social and communication skills
- Have strong problem-solving skills to structure and improve complex situations.
- Be pro-active and have a think forward mentality.
- Be motivated for learning, not only to master new technologies but also on the interpersonal level. You are proven to be able to ask and give feedback as well as sharing your knowledge.
- Be able to work under pressure and willing to be on stand-by outside office hours.
- Have an excellent written and spoken knowledge of English.
