The Process Application Technology (PAT) team is part of the Global SN R&I, IDDC Powder & Plant based which mission is to have smooth and optimized implementation of existing process solutions in close collaboration with factories to deliver superiority product characteristics for our consumers.Furthermore, The PAT team delivers on both inno/reno pipeline, ‘fuel for growth’ commitments and R&I exploration projects. The team is located in Utrecht and travels up to 30% of their time within the European Zone.
For the Specialized Nutrition R&I (SN R&I) division we are looking for a Process Manager to join the team.
Your main responsibilities
As Process manager, you will deliver practical process solutions & implement them within a wide range of projects involving innovations, transformation, productivity, capacity, compliance, transfer, efficiency & outsourcing projects, within the European supply point network.The main unit operations in our scope are: spray drying, dry blending, heat treatment, fermentation, etc., yet you are expected to have stakeholder management skills as the Process Application Team is a key partner to product developers, factories, global operations, and the quality department, amongst others.
Working in and managing projects for the European portfolio for Process Technology on Powder products:
- Identify and develop the best process technology to produce safe products in an economical, sustainable way for Specialized Nutrition Category portfolios.
- Work with Inno/Reno/F4G/R&I Explor project teams to clarify areas of process expertise contribution and coordinate internally within R&I functions to deliver critical process solutions (pilot trials, protocols etc.)
- Support the implementation of new products to various European Supply Points
- Ensure owned portfolio deliver PAT activities (technical assessment, laboratory/pilot plant and factory trials) on time, on track and on cost (incl. process specs/documents and feasibility)
- Be a valuable partner to SN IDDC teams to deliver full pipeline projects
- Partner with Advanced Technology and Powder & Technology teams to co-build science and techno upstream program plan with process application need by anticipating H2/H3 innovations
- Support other team member on technical topics
- Contribute to team transformation, continuous improvement and co-create a good team atmosphere with continuous drive for growth, excellence, and effectiveness
- Contribute Holistic Design and Product Superiority with PAT expertise to level up consumer experience of powder properties
