The Opportunity:We are looking for a driven and dynamic HR Officer to join our team on a maternity cover basis, starting in November 2024. This role offers a flexible, part-time schedule (20-24 hours a week) across 2-3 days, perfect for a professional seeking to continue building their HR career in a thriving, supportive environment.
You will play a crucial role in supporting our HR functions, ensuring seamless recruitment and onboarding processes while gaining experience in a well-established, international company.

In addition to recruitment and onboarding, you’ll provide support on a range of HR activities, supporting HR initiatives, and handling day-to-day queries. You’ll play a key role in supporting the HR manager staying organized and efficient, while ensuring our employees remain engaged and well-informed.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-2 years of HR experience, ideally with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you’ll be liaising with candidates, new hires, and internal departments.
- Organizational Abilities: A self-starter who can manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Proactive Mindset: You’re someone who can identify what needs to be done and take initiative, making things happen with minimal supervision.
- Language: Speaks English proficiently, and preferably can speak some Dutch, although it is not a strong requirement.
- Location: Someone who is already based in the Netherlands and has full working rights to work in the Netherlands. And preferably someone who is based within 30 km of Zaandam.
- Someone interested in a 5-month fixed-term position, on a part-time basis.

- Competitive salary – €35.000- €40.000 Gross per year based off a 40 hour week (equating to €2.000 gross per month based on 24 hour work week)
